Terms of use
Last updated July 16, 2026
By using ChargerAtlas you agree to these terms. They are short and in plain English.
Informational purposes only
ChargerAtlas provides specifications, calculations, and guides for general information. We work hard to keep the data accurate — the methodology page documents how — but specifications change, certifications lapse, and errors happen. Always verify critical details against the manufacturer's current documentation before buying.
Not electrical advice
Circuit sizes, breaker ratings, and installation notes on this site describe general U.S. National Electrical Code rules. They are not a substitute for a licensed electrician's assessment of your panel, wiring, and local code amendments. EV charging circuits carry high continuous loads; installation and permit requirements are the domain of a licensed professional, and you rely on generic guidance at your own risk.
No warranty
The site and its data are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChargerAtlas is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, including purchase decisions or installations based on its content.
Data and attribution
Charger certification data originates from the U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR program and remains subject to its terms; ChargerAtlas is not affiliated with or endorsed by the EPA. The site's original text, guides, and computed presentations are © ChargerAtlas. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link; wholesale reproduction of pages or the compiled database requires permission — ask us.
External links
Links to manufacturers, retailers, and data sources are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content. Some links are affiliate links — see the affiliate disclosure.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
