On paper the Gen2 barely moves from InCharge’s first 80 A unit: standby edges from 3.53 down to 3.48 W (22nd percentile of the 65-model class), the 24-foot cable and offline design carry over, and output stays at 19.2 kW on a minimum 100 A circuit. Both generations skip the Wi-Fi that 94% of the cohort includes. If the two are priced differently wherever you shop, the certified data gives no reason to pay more for either one.
